has anyone stopped at the dealership and see if dealers are trying to charge a premium since these cars just came out?

I can’t think of any luxury car going over MSRP today. I don’r shop Ferrari, Lambo, Bentley etc... Porsche over MSRP? I doubt it

i test drove one today, good stuff. test drove a 4s that was optioned out to 125k. Lease payments are a killer b/c of money factor. 2500 a month after taxes in CA for 36 month/ 12k miles.

$2,500!? Wow. Looks like I'll pick-up a CPO Panamera three years from now with ~30k miles on the odo for about $60k.

one of the local dealer near me has 4(15 minutes away), other 3 dealers each has one(all four between 10 mins to 25 mins away). They are not flying out the showroom. But the more I look at it, the more I like it

Lots of Panamera's already on the ground...wait a couple of weeks...big discounts will be available...small to mid sized dealers will want them off their floorplan. In this economy...they'll be no shortage of Panamera's. After the initial rush (if there is one)...MSRP Panamera's will be drawing dust!!

called dealer who never heard of me and said i wanted order a 4s and wanted them to pay to switch to all season tires and give me a loaner car if pana is not delivered by mid jan. said no problem.

as for $2500/month lease, i came up with lightly optioned 4s sticker at $110 and 4yr lease with $5k down is same $1850 as my 07 $110 gt3.

i think its a buyer's market for lux cars in general and porsche specifically.

one of the launch 4S in basalt on full leather is almost in turbo $ territory - was asking my dealer about it and he said in his favorite code that he had a real incentive to move it fast - in other words a discount was easily on the table - probably 5% -
