Powerchip SW

Looks like powerchip has software for all the Panameras. Looks like they boast about 25 hp and 25 ftlbs on average for the turbo. I would have guessed a lot more power could be gained through a chip on the turbo.

Wow, $2500 for 25HP...that's pretty expensive IMO. The 997T chips were less and gained way more power if I recall.

No kidding....look at what GIAC was able to do with the 4.8 V8 DFI Cayenne with no boost to turn up...and for $1,500

GIAC SOFTWARE IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR THE PORSCHE CAYENNE S DFI

Date: 01/13/2010

GIAC software is now available for the Porsche Cayenne S DFI (Direct Fuel Injection) platform. This programming offers dramatic improvements over the standard factory programming:

Improved crank horsepower and torque gains of 27-32 hp/43-48 ft lbs of torque. Wheel horsepower figures are supplied on the supplemental dyno plot. Crank gains are estimated from OEM power figures at 385 hp/369 ft/lbs of torque.
Improved drivability, with power and torque gains across the entire rev range. Some areas gain as much are 40 ft lbs of torque at the wheels.
Improved throttle response for a drive-by-cable system feel.

And for the Turbo Cayenne....

PROGRAMMING FOR - THE 2009 - 2007 CAYENNE® DFI TURBO/TURBO S
GIAC performance software for the 2009 - 2007 Cayenne® DFI Turbo/Turbo S smoothly delivers a 35-85 hp and 80 to 260 ft/lbs gain. For optimum performance the software must be coupled with exhaust and high octane fuel. This is an OBD port flash just like the factory/dealership. There is no need to remove the DME from the car.

All, Todd at EVOMS will be flying to NorCal (Sharkwerks) to Tune my car

So Sharkwerks will be able to provide full reviews/vids/ etc..

Also, Sharkwerks will look into doing a custom exhaust for me

Oh, and we are adding the RSS Plenums as well...

You power Addicts!

I'm thinking a stock Pan Turbo would be more than I'd need actually need a 4S would probably be enough but I wouldn't want a stock Camaro or Evo keeping up with me.
