Greetings from South Florida - New Owner
Hi All
just dropping in to say hi!
Just taken delivery of new Panamera S from Champion in Carbon with black interior (came with the 20" turbo wheels). Still taking it easy but I do miss the instant torque of my old Benz E55 and CLS55's with their superchargers. Much prefer the Sports Plus setting on the P-car and the aggressive shifting, and the match rev downshifting - big improvement on the MB's.
Bluetooth integration so easy, PCM is nice but would like an I-drive type button selector at the center console so I dont have to strectch to activate the option control. But I am sure I will get used to it.
Will post some pics when I get a chance.
Any lurkers on here active in SCCA?? Any going to the Runoffs??

Thanks for getting back to me Mike.
I appreciate the offer but Idotn really get out to too many DE events - not enough contact!!!!!
I race SCCA's idiot class ....... Spec Miata (or Wreck Miata, Crash Miata, Spec Piniata or whatever else you want to call it).
Just wondering if there are any Panny lurkers here that are members of SCCA?

Wow Tom
who would have thought that we would reuinte here on 6speed. Yup it was the AMG challenge at Homestead that got me started with racing, then to the Panoz Racing School and then on to Spec Miata - teh most hotly contested class in SCCA club racing.
Now have 5 regional SCCA titles to my name plus the 2010 National June Sprints title as well
what P-car brings you to this forum and what are you doing these days?

The Panamera is on the short list for the next family hauler, so just keeping up with the goings on here. I have a Cayman S and added a turbo to it to replace the E55. Its got about the same HP and weighs a thousand pounds less!
I heard about your watch winning exploits at the Challenges and the ice trip trade. Sounded like a great time.
It’s good you got Sport Plus with its launch control. In Automatic mode, it’s less fun starting off in 2nd in either Normal or Sport.

Hey Tom
is your pic up on this wall on my family website - either day 1 or day 2 - let me know. Not sure if we were in the same run groups back then
