I installed this, everything was straightforward but for my sausage fingers. No engineering background required. Two things that I would comment on - the instructions cover both Panamera and Cayenne, slight ambiguity for me was experienced as a result due to very slight differences in layout of respective engine bays. Also, box has no diagnostics that I know of - I am not aware of a method to test whether the piggyback ecu is actually doing what it is supposed to do. My subjective experience was of more power, but it would be nice in general if there was some way to instrument the hardware. Perhaps this is possible and I am ignorant?

Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear it's relatively easy to install.

It sounds like you didn't notice a huge difference in power/response and overall driving experience. I don't want to put words in your mouth but you sound luke warm about it. I would have imagined with those numbers, it would be a very appreciable difference in driving experience. Agreed it would be nice to confirm it via instrumentation and diagnostics but it should be immediately noticeable I would think.

Anyone else?

I am not lukewarm at all, I am very happy. It was a very inexpensive and easy upgrade. I have a hard time taking my car to the limits, where I live, and I am not a trained driver so I am maybe not the best person to comment.

It is also hard to tell the difference, subjectively, between a 3.3 second 0-60 and 3 second 0-60. When I get it up to 190 mph, which I would think is closer to reality than 200mph, given the aerodynamics, I will give you a report.

But I think that it is a forgone conclusion that one should get this upgrade at this price. I can't think of any reason why not.

Maybe someone can recommend some kind of telemetry setup that would enhance my testing experience?

Hello MrMan,

Thank you for your feedback. When the module is installed, if it is installed incorrectly and / or not working properly, the ECU will throw a bunch of trouble codes and the car will run very poorly. The fact that the car is running properly and not throwing any codes means all is good and working properly.

Any estimate as to when this module will be available for the non-turbo S and 4S? Thanks.

Also can someone (Alex?) explain if this is something I could install? I have an engineering degree but I do zero work on cars and would need step-by-step instructions on exactly how to do it. Is it really as easy as some people have said? Can you post the PDF of the install manual?
I got the EvomsIT from Alex at Sharwerks and I installed it in exactly 8 minutes. 3 of the 8 minutes was reading the PDF Alex sent. I'm not handy at all but I did it.

I have to agree with this comment. While my car does not feel like it went from 500HP to 1000HP, what I do notice more is that my traction light goes off more in the midrange when I floor it.

Also, on my 997T when I chipped it, it wan't "that" noticeable unitl I got an exhaust and ugraded VTG per say.

EvomsIT NAILED IT! with this product for sure! Good Job Evoms and especially Alex @ Sharkwerks.

That's almost as fast as Dan and James... although that did including them writing them

The Fabspeed downpipes really change the sound when you stomp on it. Reminds me of a big block Chevelle I had in college.

I just installed my EvomSit tonight. It was pretty easy and straightforward. I took the car out (I live in San Francisco) and drove 50 miles. I drove out of the city and got to the freeways and some backroads. I was able to do standing starts and roll ons from 50,60,70 to over 100 mph. I've been driving the for a few months in stock trim until tonight. I can report that I do feel a difference in power. I ran the car in sport and sport plus mode. The mid range thrust is where I felt it the most. It just seems quicker, stronger and more eager. I'm very happy with it and would recommend it. Thanks to Sharky and Evolution.

Hey Sarum87 so glad you did it and are enjoying it vs the stock set up It's our pleasure and that's quite a pair you have now

Just for some of you folks thinking about real-world performance, here's some interesting driftbox data with the EVOMSit vs stock:
