Need help with a DIY

I searched, please don't flame me. I'm on these forums 24/7(i know how to search, promise)

But first off I will introduce myself. My name is Sekandar, I am a porsche owner, as well are my parents. I own a 06' C2S and my folks just picked up a 10' Panamera S. Its a carbon grey and I'm not fond of the black side grills. So i recently ordered some turbo side grills from ryan at suncoast. Now i want to install them myself instead of paying more for the install at porsche than i did for the grills. any help would be appreciated, i also pm'd ryan, but till he gets to me i figure i would ask other experts. thanx in advance.

From my understanding you have to take off the front wheels and remove the front fender liners to get at the hardware - I might be wrong but I do remember something along those lines - hope this helps.

When you get it done post back here about the process and your experience - that way we all learn - thanks in advance

Had mine swapped out at my local Body Shop for $150 (Dealer wanted more than twice as much). Siswati is correct - they had to remove the front wheels and the fender liners to get to the hardware. Even then it wasn't easy and the entire process took about 2 1/2 hours. The driver's side was relatively easy but, the passenger side was difficult because of other equipment in the way. Good luck.

Thanx guys, I had one of my friends look at it today n he tried to do it without the wheel n fender lining being removed. No success, so I guess the only way is to the wheel n fender lining removal as previously stated, thanx a bunch everyone

I ended up having my dealer do it just to make sure it was done right. While it ended up costing more than I would have liked, it does make a big difference on dark-colored cars.
