My New "Cruise Missile"

...that's what I named my new PTT. I flew down to Long Beach this morning, bought it new and drove it back to San Francisco. I have owned many fast, exotic cars in the past and this car rocks! It was a dream to drive, had amazing power, and i loved every minute of my 7 hour drive. I saw a guy in a BMW 550 taking video of the car! i then dropped the hammer and saw him getting smaller and smaller in my rear view mirror. It's true what I've read in the reviews..."point it in the right direction and pull the trigger, just be sure you have enough road ahead of you and no cars in the way."

One thing i miss is sat radio. The guy who ordered (and then cancelled) it got the Burmeister stereo and NO sat radio. How dumb is that?? I hooked up my I Pod and will try to stream Pandora. I played tracks off my I pod that were high quality files- 328k and WAV files and wow what a great sound through the Burmeister. I was blown away. Car was loaded with many great options including ceramic brakes, 20" Spyders, Basalt Black, Black/ Anthracite birch.

got a chip in windshield on the way home and a bird **** on the hood. Fortunately i knew how to deal with the bird crap and removed it with no marks on the paint (i had a clear bra on the hood, but it got on the fender where there was no protection)

Very happy with my purchase and looking forward to many miles ahead.

almost forgot...I will be installing the EVOMSit software that I bought from Alex at Sharkwerks. I'll report back on my driving impressions. I have a very good baseline as I drove it all day today.

Be proud that you don't have sat radio. Be glad he didn't order it. It might be good for talk radio, but Sirius/XM pushes their feed at 48k or less depending - it's sonic integrity is less than that of AM radio if you could actually compare analog to digital. You are an audiophile, enough so that you encode your MP3's at 320kbps. Forget sat radio - ack!!

...i exclude it as a matter of principle. I would pay to delete Sat from my car if I could.

[SIZE="3"Interesting comment on the sat radio. Personally, I think the car is available because it was ordered and not included. I have noticed that the fidelity on the sat radio is less up to par. Nevertheless, I like to have choice and variety. I know all the music on my i-pod and the sat offers me some variety. The selection is outstanding.BTW, very nice acquisition.I will be looking for the update on the mods.[/SIZE]
