MotorTrend Comparison: Pan-Am finished 2nd

Surprised they used the V6 model. It had a significant hp dis-advantage but held it's own.

I think looking back 5 or ten years people will be surprised that there were so many models of the Panamera. I think the line settles into a pumped up naturally aspirated equivalent of the 4s with ~500 hp and a 600hp hybrid Turbo.

I think the 2nd generation Panny will be gigantic step forward and closer to 911 expectations. 600hp will be a must, we my even see 650hp.

I never understood what Porsche is trying to achieve with the panamera as I was one of those "997 or bust guys ", until I had the pleasure of driving my cousin's Panamera 4S in Dubai this past summer.

The car surprised me with probably being the best overall car in the market

usable seats, comfy ride, great looks, usable cargo space, and more than enough power! but I would still like to see more power (I never drove the panny turbo tho, this may just do it for me!)

I'm pretty sure a panny S would've pretty much smoked the competition!

The best part.

As these words are pecked out, the American economy is barely turning over with the slow wuhn-wuhn-wuhn of an 11-year-old DieHard after a three-week cold-soak at the Minneapolis airport. But last November, we threw a bunch of those 'hopey-changey' bums out, and the lame-duck 2010 Congress has set the trickle-down wheels in motion by extending the Bush tax cuts for all.

Editors quoted about no shoulder support in seats, it's an option which test car didn't have.. Also test car had BOSE, it would score much more if it had BURMESTER
