Ferrari has joined the 4 passenger, all-wheel drive category with a spectacular "shooting brake" like V-12. To the dismay of the Panamera dissing crowd, this looks like a Panamera with an added rear end bustle.
Shame it has only 2 doors

 

I have to admit, I am not a fan of the shooting brake.... I will be curious to see what kind of criticism, if any, that Ferrari gets for the form factor.

The answer is quite simple, Ferrari has seen the profitability of the Panamera and wants on the gravy train.

Ferrari didn't even bother changing the wheel design!

 

they won't have a problem charging 200k more then the bmw though

 

Like it or not, I heard everyone being built is already sold so I guess they did alright. Truthfully I don't hate it, it's just not what you expect when you think of a Ferrari.

 

But neither is the Panny what you expect when you think of Porsche!!!

 

And the panamera is quicker

i just don't get this car at all. the buyer of this car is very different that the buyer of the panamera turbo. without the extra two doors on the ferrari, the functionality is just not there. the panamera is a true family sedan with super performance. imaging four adults getting into the ferrari? i don't see it. it's an all new form and shape but i don't see them making any serious inroads to panamera marketshare.

 

wonder why they don't make a car around the 150 range to compete with Porsche.
