I just got my sprint booster...

And it's for a 997
I have a panamera

Should I just install it anyway. Or will it somehow turn into a disaster

I called them and of course. No response until Monday

Or just return it and stomp on the gas more. All it does is to change the linearity of your throttle, so it is wide open earlier. It doesn't give you any additional performance gains.

+1

I don't recommend using it all. It will make the throttle too sensitive at tip in. But since you have it already you might as well plug it in and see what happens. Let us know what you think.

I just got one and have been driving with it about a week. I think it improves the smoothness of the throttle response, and I think it is a very nice add on. Plug it in and give it a shot. If you don't like it, return it. I wouldn't put one on my 997TT, but for the V6 Panamera, I think it adds to the experience.

Operate your car in sport mode, the throttle response is more immediate. From what I understand, that's all the "sprint booster" can do and you already have it available.

first day with sprint booster

I definitely recommend it
$300 not bad

Installing. A problem.

Unscrew and pull out Pedal is easy
But disconnecting the plug was a pain I'n the ***

Hold down a light grey tab and then pull hardddd

I got so frustrated and pulled so hard I cracked the light grey tab -
Actully made it easier

After 20 min of just trying to pull a plug
Finally got it

What it does is just make the car feel like there is more torque when u hit the pedal

Tires were burning and chirping , did not happend before the booster

I would say it's like.
A extra sport button

Excuse my ignorance, but what does adding a booster do to your Porsche warranty?

Did the company ever confirm the 997 part is the same as the 970? Also, does it make the car in standard mode feel like you're starting in sport mode? Thx.
