Posting pic of PDLS in black

First time posting here.

Picked up my P4 yesterday and looking to share some info.
First off, here is the build info including dates since I know there are some questions as to how long, etc. etc.

Ordered P4 on 4/4 (two days after picking up the wife's Cayenne)
Slated for May build- June Delivery
Completed production on 5/23
In port on 6/4 (Davisville)
At dealership on 6/8
Delivered 6/9

I searched high and wide for pics of PDLS in black feature as it is pretty pricey and wanted to get an idea of what it looked like.
I couldn't find much so I'm going to try and help out by posting pics of the PDLS pics in black on my white P4 alongside pics of the standard PDLS on my wife's white Cayenne.

Hopefully the side by side will help people figure it out.

The car is at the tint shop right now, but will post when I get the car back.

Like the old cliche, there is no accounting for taste, but I think it's a nice option....is it worth the $2,435 on a P4...who knows, who cares, it's done already

Here are the pics...

Sorry for the delay - got caught up in things.
two pics of each, showing 2011 Cayenne with PDLS and 11 P4 with PDLS in black.

Both cars are white.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the effort to post pictures of the PDLS. I'm planning to change mines to PDLS as well. And my car is white too. Do you mind taking a picture from a distance? I just wanna have an idea how it looks from the front. Thanks again!

IMHO PDLS in black best look with white or black exterior color. I have seen one on carbon grey and it looks kinda weired. BTW both ur P4 and Caynne are nice!

Thanks!

BTW - the glass is not blackened on the PDLS in black. The plastic housing that the lights are situated in are black, opposed to the light grey/silver in the normal PDLS.

If my explanation doesn't make sense I can take a closeup on a sunny day and post it.

Here is the pic from in front on the P4.

Pardon my ignorance, but why would you want to diminish the light output of your headlights just for appearance reasons? With all the wild life jumping out in front of cars in my area, more not less, lumens are desirable.
My wife hit a deer last year and wiped out the front end of her BMW.

The light output isn't diminished...
the glass is clear, the housing that sights behind the glass is black.
It is the same light, but in a black housing background.

Thanks for pix

Great looking ride! I love the combination of black PDLS and black wheels. And no chrome is nice, sporty. Black headlight washers is a nice little touch also

Enjoy in good health.. I think I will order the lights as well.
