Thoughts on car so far
Robert,
I saw your threads about being on fence about V6 or S. I am trying to make same decision and find it hard based on short test rides. Wanted to know your thoughts so far with your decision to go V6. I just want car that is fun to drive on daily basis that has enough power to put smile on face. Any help appreciatred!

As the stock 20" wheels have taken a beating on the roads around here, no way I could vote for 22" wheels on this car unless you only plan to pose or drive on perfect roads. Daily driver, I would only consider 21s; almost have convinced myself that 20s are enough until I get out of this town...

The v6 is lighter than a v8, so I think you feel the response quicker. The gas mileage is fantastic and still fun to drive. I am STILL in the break in period and only have 595 miles on her. SO I have not taken her over the 4200 RPM mark as suggested in the owners manual.
Take into consideration that I have a totalled modded ferrari 360 spider with a stradale TCU and crazy tubi ngt with hyper flow exhaust, blah blah blah which I use to play on the track with, so the speed thing to me is NOT that important on the roads for my daily driver.
if the v8 was the same price I would have gotten the v8, But I got a brand new car with 22 miles on her for the mid $70's and nicely equiped.
I was considering a 2009 Maserati QP - gts (Cert to 100,000 miles) vs the brand new Panamera v6. I decided to get the Panni based on a LOT of conversations with Maserati owners and service guys.
good luck in your search
i have 22's on mine, and i have no problems what so ever, and Im from NY, your in Fl, it shouldn't be any problems....

do you have a v6 ???
does you car have the suspension lowering from the factory???
did you lower the car ???
My v6 does not have any suspension options, so the springs will have to be changed if I want to lower it.
If you did lower your car, do you have issues with parking and not hitting the parking curbs ???

If you want big 22"s for a fashion statement thats cool, but really not practical with the roads around here..
22's probably work fine but if it were me, I'd probably go for 21's with a nice drop. When it comes to daily driving, just that one size of additional rubber helps. Especially after the tires have several thousand miles on them.
