The last review I read on the CLS is that adults do not fit comfortably in the rear. My mom had the last generation and it was WAY too small, front and back. It is a useless waste of four doors. And it is slow and handles like a pig. No contest!

I shopped the Audi A7 and considered the CLS before I bought my panam 4s. The audi actually drove pretty good, handling was ok (nothing like a porsche) acceleration was good and the front end looks mean. However, the interior and dash board were lame, the panamera 4s blew it away in terms of fun factor, interior room/styling & exterior styling i!!! however if you dont have the cash for a panam the A7 may be worth looking at. I sat in a CLS and saw how small it was inside and the trunk is ridiculously small. To me this defeats why you even get a sport sedan. I never did drive it, but im sure from the specs it packs some punch!! One more side not for those considering the Panamara. I dismissed it at first from the photo until I saw it in person, it is striking and dare i say it, sexy! I get people stopping everwhere, snapping their necks to look at. From kids to seniors I have compliments from everyone, havent seen this much attention since I had a ferrari.

Ok. Have my p4s one week. Had cls (two versions) for six years. No comparison. Pan is a Sports car. Cls is an e class max'ed out but nothing more.

I also test drove the A7 the same day as my 4S; it's a great car but the 4S blew it away. The newly announced S7 sounds sweet, although it'll probably cost as much as my 4S did. Btw, I also test drove an Audi S5, V8 coupe with a manual. Frigging sweet!!! That was even more fun to drive than the 4S, but I wanted the practicality of 4 doors and a large accessible trunk; plus the interior of the S5 was quite bare; not in the same league as the Panamera at all.
