Does anyone know whether or not carbon ceramic brakes should actually squeak?? my panam turbo's ceramic brakes continuosly squeaks, and when i went to the porsche service centre they explained to me how its normal for ceramic brakes to squeak, however i have so far never heard of other cars using ceramic brakes such as ferraris astons or lambos etc. squeaking, ex. the 458 italia, had a ride in one, and the brakes didnt squeak

 

Ceramic brakes will always squeek if they are cold.. Once it warms up they will no longer squeek

 

It seems ALL Porsche brakes squeek, wheather red or yellow. I was, however, under the impression yellow ones squeek less.

 

Never a squeak issue after 3 911's with ceramics.
