"Blacked out" bodywork by Final Touch/Robert

Hi Guys,

Recommended by a fellow 6speeder Anroy, I am getting a few bodywork done by Robert's shop Final Touch in West New York, NJ. My car had a scratch and dent on the passenger door, thanks to an anonymous neighbor who didnt bother to leave a note. While getting it fixed, I figured why not getting the whole car done the way i wanted. The car should be ready by this Saturday, I have to say so far the experience with this shop has been excellent. Robert the owner is very professional, experienced, and made me feel secure getting the job done there. He took the time to show me around, his recent work(techart 997 turbo, Cayenne Magnum and CLS63) and provided very a detailed estimate. He even documented his progress and send me pictures(80 pictures!). I will report back once I pick up the car, but so far this is by far the best experience i've ever had with a car shop.

Here is a list of things being done:
-Paint Brake Calipers in Racing Yellow, with black Porsche logos
-Smoke rear tailights
-Smoke orange side markers
-Paint Chrome door trim, door handles, headlight nozzles glossy black
-Paint Exhaust tips black
-Paint Emblems glossy black, and "s" in red
-Paint lower front spoiler silver ( if this comes out good, i will trademark this look )
-Hardwire V1

Here are a few in progress pix, will post final product on Saturday

You do know that you can buy the window trim prefinished in black...maybe not?
I spoke to my dealer about doing this and they said it's a PIA to do!

Yes, it is a PIA, we did explore your option above, and the cost with install is tremendous, by far the most expensive job out of everything that i'm doing. Robert is working with me on the price and and hes going to get it done right at cost. My car is in a million pieces which makes me a little nervous, but we will see the final results on Saturday!

I don't think its the cost of the parts, it's the cost of the labor plus the PUCKER factory fo pulling off the door skins! From the picture you posted, the hard part is done, now it's just putting it all back together
You can also buy the headlight washers in black along with the front fender side vents. I did both of these when I added the sport design kit.

Love the black out look too! Out from the factory i only need to smoke the side marker, its hideous. Can't really tell the big difference on mine too with the sports design, wonder what ur result will be!? Keep updating!

im hoping the lower bar painted silver between the front intakes will exaggerate contrast and show that we actually have the sport design kit! And it goes well with rest of the car, i do still have some silver accent on the stock turbo 2's.

Good grief you got the window moldings off, your installer will need counseling after he gets done with that job.
