They took my PTT!

... to the repair shop again.

There was a hesitation in the throttle and the oil pressure monitor failure light came on.

Any ideas whats wrong???

Its a true sign of summer and finally dry roads, when you are driving a RENTAL...

So far the only similar issues have been on the Cayenne of different ages and fixed by:
-replacing ignition coil pack
-fixing cables running to instrument cluster from sensor

Oh this sounds like a nice fault, several different fixes in different types of Porsches and none resembling quite mine...

An update.

They called me that they made an open campaign:
WC01 - Re-programming Front-end Electronics Control Unit Rear-end Electronics Control Unit - 2010-2012 Panamera's

and the oil pressure sensoring returned to normal, so fingers crossed that it works now...

Good to hear that they've identified the problem. Does an "open campaign" mean that all PTTs 2010-2012 will need to be inspected?

I think it will be done to all Panameras once they visit the shop for routine service or repair, the car can go to limp mode without it as mine did.

Oh yes, serious case of Dejavu!

Check engine light came on and engine was going uneven...
After a nice testdrive in the M5, I am getting tired of this!

Ok, seriously thinking of never buying a Porsche again.

They called the car is fixed now.

I had an oil pressure monitor failure light, which they said was fixed by front end electronics update.
Also the turbo showed 0.1 pressure even when warm engine, and revs at idle.

Then I had a check engine light, which they said is caused by a failed oil pressure gauge, or did they just fix the earlier problem? How can a failed oil pressure gauge cause a check engine light?

I still think the engine goes unevenly and while I was discussing about it with the tech, the oil temp gauge started jumping up and down between 70 and 80, it has allways been steady in the middle, what was broken in the turbo recall process?

To add to this, my brakes squeel like a slaughterd pig when the wheels are turned to max and I brake. The tech didnt find the problem, I had to demonstrate on the parking lot.

So I left the car there feeling really frustrated, 4th week in the shop this summer and a vw polo car for the spirited driving.

I would ask Porsche to get me a GTS and take the turbo back.
