They took my PTT!
2 words... It blows...
2 more words... I'm sorry...
Bunch of words... If I were you I wouldn't hesitate to dump the car. As painful as it sounds, there is not much you can do to feel better. It's a shame that it happened to you, but it happens sometimes to the best of us.
I really hope you make the best decision. In the meantime, did you look at the M5? It would sure look promising at this point if I were you.
I wished you the best of lucks. By the way you think it's got anything to do with the power-kit you got? Maybe there is a defect somewhere around the install? I might be talking from my behind here...

In my country there are no lemon laws, and the worst thing is that our consumer protection agency is a joke. They said they dont accept difficult cases and they allways make compromises.
The odd thing here is that these problems are recent and there should be fix, now I am starting to fear the problem is they dont know how to fix these rare cars. At the moment had an idea of taking it with me on a business trip to Germany and let a big dealer check it out, while renting a M5 from sixt. I will contact stuttgart if this reluctance from the part of the only Porsche dealer around here continues. They didnt even want to give me a loaner for the duration of the turbo recall fix=2 weeks. I had to call Stuttgart.
At the moment I will keep the loaner until they atleast try to fix it, their opinnion is that if the diagnostic tools are ok, the car is ok. And they blamed the oil pressure gauge for the check engine light and rough idle.
This really bugs me, where I live the AMG, MB workshops were the best. Allways fixed all problems and washed the car etc. Last time from the Porsche shop I got the car dirty after it was just hand washed before it broke down.
Its surprising how even an unreliable car feels ok, when the workshop works!
