I have a 2013 Panamera gts....i currently have the stock 20'' turbo II wheels...my car is Carmine red.
Suggestions for winter wheel package that won't kill the pocket book? should i go down to 19''....stick to 20''....anyone with experience on their panamera turbos etc..in the snowbelt areas???
thanks so much guys and pictures if you have them would be great too!
jeff
p.s. i would also love to change out my center gauge from that grey color to solid black..suggestions?

I drive in all kinds of weather, we have many months of snow and bad plowing and I have 20inch wheels because of pccb. I have Pirellis, but would prefer Continentals and 19 inch, as smaller ones are more comfy. The Panny is stable as a rock compared to 997tt and is an ALL weather machine

Thanks Kip...so i guess i could just buy some winter tires that fit directly onto my turbo II wheels or try to find somewhat of an eye acceptable wheel/tire 19'' combo for winter....if i can find that right 19'' combo ill buy it or a 2nd set for dedicated november-march driving
LOVING my GTS btw
tossed and turned about a turbo or gts and even ordered a turbo and ended up buying a 991 S and porsche bought it back due to a design flaw and i ended up in a carmine red loaded GTS that someone ordered whose financing fell through go figure...haven't looked back...
1-2 years i think ill have either a sl63 amg or ill do a 991 turbo or gts....time to figure it out...
I have appreciated reading your posts over the last 8 months or so KIP....
it has guided me in some of my decisions
thank you

cvprez is infamous around these parts
i bought a second of set of oem 19" wheels with snow tires on them - the smaller rim makes for a taller, narrower tire which cuts through the snow better. With the snows on and all wheel drive my car does well in the winter months, it's one of the things that makes the PTT the best all around car I've owned. (as a side not stay away from the MB SL63 unless you like to drive the c class loaner the dealer will give you when it's in the shop!)

ophtho has a spectacular aura aboutophtho has a spectacular aura about
I had 20" Pirelli snow tires when I lived in Western PA. Route 30 was NEVER plowed until last and I never had an issue over 2 winters. Of course the 1st winter they were AWESOME but the 2nd winter I had to baby it at times. I put over 10k miles on them over that time frame. Hindsight being 20/20, I would have mounted them on another set of wheels.
