have any of you painted the Turbo II wheels black? I would love to see what they look like.

Not bad, but I feel the detail gets lost on black wheels...

 

I kind of like this look. I actually think the detail on the wheels look just fine. I'm not a big fan of two tone wheels. It would at least be nice to have the gray painted black on a black car. What do others think?

 

I like the turbo II wheels more like they were. Its the combo of shiny and black that makes it one of the best stock wheels, if you like black Id go for the sport wheels in black.



On a white car totally black is allways ok, I just think the turbo II wheels in black are too thin. I just painted the winter Spyder wheels black with a metal lip, like the sport wheels above, they looked nice, but havent seen them on the car yet. Cant wait to see the result, the regular spyder wheel was kind of unsporty....

 

Please post pix of painted Spyder wheels. I was thinking of doing the same...

 

They are at the tire shop, but putting on winter shoes in October so am going to post then, they looked really nice coming from the paint shop, hope they will look like similar to the sport wheel, they used them as the model
