The wife says I'll totally miss my c4S cab if I opt for a Panamera 4S.
Has anyone done this? Any regrets? I'd sell my S600 and settle for the Panny sedan.

I went from a 997.1TT modded to a panamera TT and couldnt be happier. While the 911 was insane fun, the panamera is just as fast, gets just as many looks, and is way more refined. Just my .02.

Went from a 997.2 to a P4S with PASM. THe panemera definitely can not handle and turn in quite like a 911 but it does make a very good attempt - and holds up to C2, not quite the C2S on track in the hands of lay drivers as I found out personally. It is certainly as close to the 997 as you'll get with 4 very comfortable seats and with sport and sport+, you certainly can make the car feel sportier on a whim.

Went from 997.1tt to PTT powerkit, PTT is faster, has same fuel economy, is luxurious, spacious and considerably more quiet and comfortable. And fits my family with luggage. 6-0 for PTT.

Good info...I would consider going to a 4S or a GTS...

I went from a C4S to a P4S and Ill list the things I dont miss:

rough ride
lack of technology
lack of luxury
lack of room
no trunk
no passenger space

The panny is way better and after one month I forgot about the Carrera.

Best compromise for me was a 2007 911 Turbo and a 2011 V6 Pana. Equally perfect for their intended but different uses

As awesome as I'm sure those other Porsches are, they remain in my mind as toys. I want a real car that I can fit people and gear in...good luck finding a better car than the Panamera! My 4S thrills me every single day...

c4s cab is totally different than a panamera. I wouldnt say a panny is a replacement car for a sports car. panny is a great sedan with sports car like qualities but is still a sedan albeit much sportier than just about any other sedan.

if you need 4 real seats, then i would say definitely go with the panny. but dont expect the panny to really fill the space of a sports car (or a convertible sports car for that matter)

The Panny rocks, the interior is insane blows all the others out of the water, and it pulls and corners like crazzzzy ... Love it... I would take the panny over any other Porsche out there right now.

not exactly went from 911 to Panny but had a GT3RS with a Panny S for daily. found the Panny to be too big for my need then got a 911 C2S for daily instead. i just didn't need the extra space. if u need more room, then can't go wrong with the Panemera. if u don't need room, the 911 driving pleasure is hard to replace with.

If you go *****-out and get a Turbo, you'll definitely forget all about that C4S.
