My current panamera has carbon fiber illuminated door sills, I'm looking at one on the dealers lot that does not have illuminated sills at all. I know when you spec one out prepping the car for them is a specific option, does anyone know if you can add them without a tremendous amount of work if the car wasn't ordered with the "prepped" option? Thanks for any insight you can offer.

 

That is a relatively easy mod. If you want the sills to light up when the door is open & turn off when the door is closed you can run the wiring into the fuse box and splice into the fuse for the doors.

 

i had them retro fit onto my old turbo - it was 4 hours or so at the dealor

 

There is a retrofit for door sills, you can add carbon fiber, illuminated carbon fiber, or illuminated stainless steel:
