Recently drove a 2010 Panny TT
I am looking for a change of my DD which is a X5M. Great truck but I have been driving a SUV DD for too many years. I recently picked up a 991 911 C4S for weekends/track and thought I would check out the Panny for DD duty. Obviouslty the Panny 4S is a very capable car. Rently drove one and for my needs more than enough. It was nice out yesterday and my wife is really pushing me to get rid of the X5M. We took a ride to a dealer that has a nice 2010 PTT. Bad move driving the turbo......4S not going to cut it. Great options list etc. The turbo power/tq is simply amazing.
Negotiated price to low-mid 90's with CPO and they offered a very fair trade on my car. Only thing hold me back is spending close to 100K out of the door for a car that is 3.5 years old. Granted the MSRP was 156K and its a lot of car, but still 100K all in for a preowned car. Miles are low so that is not an issue.
Also a little worried that the car will draw too much attention. Other options are a BMW 750/550 with Dinan including active roll (similar to PDCC).

I have been watching the prices of the GTS and they are more than I want to spend. I have other cars so the Panny was orignally going to be a 4S around 80-85 for a nice preowned CPO then upped it a bit to the low to mid 90's for a Turbo. Pushing another 10K for a GTS is not worth it to me and to be honest I rather a Turbo (or 4S) that has depreciated a bunch for a year or two than a new GTS. I don't stay in cars long enough to get ahead of the curve to make a new purchase make sense. Preowned for me on the Panny.
the gts looks and sounds awesome, but you can't compare it to what a turbo feels like, and you're right it was a bad move. Once you drive the turbo all the others seem inadequate. If you had just driven the 4S I'm sure you would have been more than happy with it, but now you've been tainted!
I wanted a GTS at first as it sounds awesome but after test driving the turbo, my decision was made. The ease of getting a tune and downpipe to add almost 100hp when you decided that the 500hp is not enough.

155K sticker private party sale 7k on the dial. Offered 88k but it looks like it's gonna take 91k to get deal done. My mistake was driving the 4S and really liking it and then being talked into driving the TURBO

Only other option i'm considering is the TESLA MODEL S performance car.
I'm in the middle of deal for 2010 PTT

I would say 91k is current market for such a lo mile PRIVATE party sale car. Warranty runs out in 10 months. I do fully expect pricing to drop on the used market at least 10%
once the face lifted cars start showing up at dealers.
