new Sound System installed in PGTS

I have always been an audiophile and wanted a great sound system for my 2013 PGTS. It had the Bose sound system. I was worried that the dedicated Bose system would inhibit my options, but I was wrong. The experts at Audio Innovations here in Sacramento, told me that the I could change out all of the speakers including the Bose subwoofer in the trunk using a new amp and signal processor that came out of the PCM unit. I could bypass the Bose amp etc. completely. The amp and signal processor fit in the trunk where the Bose sub used to be (see pics), and the sub in the right wheel well compartment. 3 days later I have a new sound system that completely blows my mind. Bass that kicks and the highs are amazing. 6500.00 for the complete change-out but well worth it. Let me know if you want more detail of the equipment.

Not sure I understand. You're saying the amp works with the factory signal processor or did you add an aftermarket signal processor?

Which one? So it grabs the signal pre-amp?

Always wished my 2010 PTT had Burmiester system. Is this upgrade as good? Wonder if my local stereo shop could do this job?

Audio is one of the easiest upgrades that can be done. The wealth of aftermarket products make this a wide open area.

I made a special point to go to the dealership and listen to a Pani with the Burmiester system. My custom sound system absolutely demolishes the Burmiester. Much better highs, lows and bass. And 4 times the power. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on a home audio system and this rivals the sound.

I have the Burmester Sound System and it just sounds amazing. The burmester system is not about playing insane or 4 times louder. It is about purity of the sound and being able to control the sounds ranges perfect and crystal clear. THAT the burmester can do.

can you share more details and pictures. is the install merely unscrewing old speakers out putting new ones in and plug in play with the subwoofer n signal processor or is it more complex. I could buy the system in the usa but since car is in india would it be easy to get it installed here...?

i too want to upgrade the factory system. I have standard system not even bose hope they can do something for me as well.
