E Hybrid for Carpool lanes in CA

Any chance the E Hybrid can qualify for the HOV (carpool) lanes in California? If yes, I will get in line to get one asap.

They might qualify for the green sticker since its a plug-in hybrid. However, that sticker is only limited to 40k.
