ECU Removal

Has anyone removed the ECU? Was looking for a step by step guide.

Trying to work on a 2011 Panamera TT.

Thanks in advance.

Dave,

I tried removing it to get to the ECU serial. It's a major PITA and good luck with your fingers.

I know it's in the passenger side of the engine compartment, underneath the plastic covers right in the corner where the engine bay almost reaches the front quarter panel. You will see its pretty obvious once you remove the plastic cover.

You would need simple tools and a dental mirror to locate the screws that attach to the ECU holder, as well as skinny hands and LOTS of patience.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Let us know how it goes.
