New PGTS Owner

I have been in the market to replace my DD for some time. I have a 2010 X5M that is nearing the end of warranty and while I could extend the warranty (or go bare) I have kept this car far longer than most cars.

I have had my eye on 2010 Panny Turbo's (and 4S') but could not justify the prices dealers are asking for a 4 year old car and wanted to stay within a reasonable budget. This is just my opinion and in no way meant to disrespect people who purchase the preowned turbos.

So to make a long story short, my dad who purchased a 2013 GTS last July had a change in life circumstances (to the good) and purchsed a new car. I took over his lease with 22 months to go. Only 4200 miles.

Car needs some love on the wheels (he's 68 and curbed a few....) and a ding pulled but other than that she's good to go.

Love the car. Some pics.

Oh my that's a beauty Congrats on the car and glad your Dad is doing better. I would also consider some Rubber Floor Mats for the winter months. Enjoy, you got a great DD.

Many thanks. So far really enjoying the car. I can't get over how a big car can drive so small. Really amazing.

It really is a trip...handles like on rails...if you love it now, try to drive one ( actually... Don't), with PDCC... You'll be blown away. Flat like a pancake... Zero body roll...zilch

Tire pressure, I've found, also really important to maximize the handling capacities...

I have a 991 C4S with PDCC so I know it's capabilites. I do my canyon carving in the 911 and use the GTS for my DD duty and more cruising than aggressive. Long trips to see family, etc. Don't get me wrong, if I was building/searching for a car I would prob take PDCC over Burmester, but there was no way I was passing up the opportunity for this car.
