Panamera V6?

Hey guys. I wanted to get a feel from you guys on the V6 that is in the Base Panamera. Is there a car that you can compare it to?

We are looking at 2011ish Range Rovers Sports with the supercharger so I know they don't even class up to eachother but at the same time saw the 2011ish Panamera is right around the same price and started thinking.

Im just not sure about bang for the buck on this one.

I know space is an issue, we used to have a C63 and cargo and back seat space killed us with our 2year old.

thoughts?

Thanks everyone.

the RR will be more powerful and completely different car. I had one. one is a large somewhat clumsy SUV the other is a Porsche sports car which will behave as such and has the bonus of 4 doors

your call, and honestly I got rid of my RR due to the limited interior space.

We have a 2009 Range Rover Sport Supercharged... and I also have a Panamera V6.. I guess I can weigh in on this one.....

The 2011 Range Rover engine is somewhat improved over the one in our 2009 Range Rover, but its the same chassis and it is the same clunky vehicle for the most part. (btw, the upcoming new 2014 Range Rover Sport appears to be much improved and 800 lbs lighter)

Tom is correct. The Range Rover is a bit heavy and clumsy.. It accelerates well and it has tons of space, but its not nearly as nice as the Panamera for daily driving.. No comparison.

Range Rover vs. Pana

There are tons of Reviews and YouTubes on the new RR. I was considering one of the new ones briefly before I drove the Pana S until I learned that it was really going to be a long time before the supply would give much of a choice unless you special order at full price - meanwhile the selection of Panamera's is virtually endless and Dealers are willing to flex somewhat. Best of luck w/your decision.

Having driven three previous RRs, most recently a 2010 model, I would say that it is probably my choice for an SUV. However, I now drive a panamera first v6 model and then swapped out for the 4s. I would say they are 2 different vehicles and it depends on what you are looking for. I liked my RR but I didn't try to make excuses to drive it like I do the panamera.
