Estimated delivery time

The dealer quoted me a 10 week delivery time for a Panamera GTS. Is that a reasonable estimate or might it take longer?

Wow, that's way better than what my dealership warned me about my order. I'm waiting to hear next week when my delivery is but I was told to be ready for 16 weeks or more!

Do you have a production slot for the car...I have a November production slot with expected delivery 4 to 5 weeks later. The important thing to note is that the dealer has to have an allocated production slot from porsche to give you an estimate.

The dealership told me they find out about their 4Q slots next week. Hopefully I hear good news!

In my case the dealer had a slot and he quoted 10 weeks. Should be here just before Christmas if goes according to plan.

Gents - here is what I've figured out from talking to a few different dealers. Quite frankly, I found there to be a lot of confusion on this topic! Porsche locks down their production orders two months in advance to be able to effectively and efficiently manage their supply chain as long as they are not capacity constrained. In this context, if you decide to place an order in Sept, the earliest allocation that will be available to you is November. With regard to November allocation, even if a specific dealer's allocation may be up, the regional sales manager can swap allocation from other dealers to manage demand. If you're on the East Coast and in particular North East, you'll get your car about 2 to 3 weeks post-production.

yes they will take a trade in on the spot and stop your current car from further depreciation and put it toward your new car.

I did that and worked out nicely.
