Heated seats

Is it just me or are the heated seats on the panamera unimpressive? What is the high and what is the low setting, one click gives 3 lights and 3 clicks gives one light. Very confusing, and can't even tell the difference.

Any way to kick up the heat on these things?

It is unimpressive. Hottest is 3 light and it's barely as hot as the heated seats in merc on the lowest setting. I did complain to the dealer and they told me it's working as intended.

Not as hot as my 5er but OK. Is there a setting to control the distribution between seating surface to back rest?

The AC through the seats are worse though. I think it's b/c of the cupped sport seats it doesn't allow the air to flow through (either that or my @$$ is too big).

I think Porsche only refers the seats as ventilated rather than air conditioned.

That is true...regardless, I love the feature and keep it on all the time when it's above 70 degrees.

I wish mine came with the ventilated option. I'm guessing there is no reasonably priced way of adding this correct?

seat heaters suck on all cars

I've lived in a cold climate and can tell you that when you get into a freezing cold car, you freeze your *** off on the cold cold leather. By the time the seat heaters come on and warm up you've already frozen your butt off then they're too hot.
My answer over the years has always been to get custom tailored sheepskin seat covers. Feels good every time.
(best quality from Shearcomfort.com in Vancouver BC.

Well it looks like I wasn't just making **** up.... At first they tried telling me its just hard to feel when its over 75 degrees outside so its normal.... I was in their rental cayenne at the time he was telling me this , with my butt and back basically on fire from the heated seat, so I called BS. They ended up looking into it and turns out the central control unit isn't working and 3 out of 4 of my seats wasn't firing up correctly or something like that... Waiting on the parts to come in to be replaced.
