Gloss Black or Hyper Black?

I just bought a set of Forgestar F14's and getting them painted in either Gloss Black or Hyper Black. Looking for some quick opinions. Anyone have experience with Hyper Black? Trying to decide how this would like on the F14's? Examples of colors below. My car is Black.

I don't think you'll go wrong w/any selection. What color did the wheels come in? In all honesty, you're going to want the other color in a few months..."Grass is greener syndrome" haha. Few years ago I had a black car w/black rims...now I have a black Pan w/silver rims b/c I didn't want the black on black look. Now I want to go back. Regardless of which way you choose, the fact that you got the 22" F14's it's going to look good.

With all that said, I personally like a little contrast btw the car color and the wheels.

I'm not a fan of black wheels on black cars - I like them on everything else - but I think you get too much of a darth vader / batmobile look with black on black. I have hre p45's in matte black on my panamera and like previous poster said - I'm getting tired of the look and want to paint mine a different color as well - with everyone plasti dipping their wheels black these days I'm starting to think the whole black wheel thing may be on it's way out anyway

Thanks for the input. The wheels came silver. I got a good price on the wheels and was always planning on upgrading the finish on the wheels. Forgestar is known to chip easily. I am having the wheels redone with a higher quality finish. Just debating on the color. I've always wanted the black wheel experience but I agree that I might tire of it. I like the Hyper black but now sure how it will look on the F14's?

I'm leaning pretty heavy on gloss black. I have red calipers behind the wheel to help break up the black. I'm trying to decide if it makes sense to consider a pinstripe like the post above or not? Below is a red pinstripe on a gray FY14 wheel for example. Mine would be black and red similar to the other wheel example. I was talking to Eli at Wheel Dynamics who is refinishing my wheels. He also thought a polished or brushed stripe would also be nice. Can't decide if I want a pinstripe or keep it all black like the photo below?

If you're going with the pin stripe definitely go with the gloss black. Actually, go with the gloss black even if you don't pin stripe. Black on black is still in still. You can always change later.
