Interesting. I love the Burmester and the overall performance on my 11PTT but the I've had to really turn down the bass on certain types of music especially rap/hip and some R&B. It gets too deep and rumbly and had to set it back to -1 or -2 to make it sound ok. Do you think I have a bass problem that needs to be checked?

I don't think there's anything wrong with your system. I personally feel that at Bass 0, it's more than sufficient and gets overwhelming on certain genres of music that is bass heavy.

TGED is infamous around these parts
Since you guys are talking about audio I have a question. When I use my iPod connected to USB, the PCM shows MP3 format even when my songs(purchased from iTunes) are in AAC format. But when I play the same songs using an USB stick the PCM shows the correct AAC format. Not sure why?

Tonyep, what do you use as the source to feed the DAC?

The iPad mini Retina or iPhone 5S. Both are able to output 24/96 when using USB DAC through FLAC Player.
