There is a part that says "Attention!!! If have error in engine ecu, not flash power kit firmware in ecu before repair engine!" - which if I understand correctly pretty much says that you can blow your engine if you sneeze.

I highly doubt that this is 100% guaranteed and that the warranty will hold. I know the PowerKit is $20K for some reason, even tho the last kits were sold using the same turbo propellers as the regular non powerkitted cars.

I'd still pass, thanks.

I'm not saying this item is the real deal, but I disagree with your point of view... Porsche charges things simply because it can.... The turbo S versions of our cars are 30k more expensive and its nothing more than a cheap tune and some VERY cheap part upgrades (relative to the 30k). They charge it simply because the market allows it. Its a win win, since the people that buy it, money isn't an issue, and on the other hand porsche backs the car with a warranty. However, that 30k isn't correlated directly to how expensive the upgrades are.

As far as the warning, the way I read it, it says that if you have any ECU engine codes (a.k.a something is wrong and your engine is throwing codes), don't flash your ECU. This is a common sense precaution.

It is not our imagination, it is a real official product of Porsche.
You can order the service from your dealer, but it will cost much more.
This product is suitable not only for the Porsche Panamera, but also for all other Porsche vehicles equipped with a turbocharged engine.
If talk briefly, then using this product, you unlock some features of your car engine that will give some increase in power.
To activate, use the Porsche Piwis Tester II + activation code.

P.S. Sorry for not very good english

PIWIS II is a programmer straight from Porsche. Only dealers can afford it as it's costy (over 5K?) it programs features in your car after codes or approval from the P Gods.

Not only dealers can afford to buy Porshe Piwis Tester. The price is high, I admit, but with this tool to earn money. Description Porsche Piwis Tester, in an attachment.

Porsche Piwis Tester II setup - YouTube
Is this something you are also selling ? If so, can we get a price ? My nearest dealer is 2 hours away for any of cars so I do all my own work.

Many thanks.
