Adding OEM Aftermarket

I can't seem to find an inventory '14 GTS that is specced as I would my own order. Although I can be patient and wait for an allocation, I was wondering if the following items can be installed (as if OEM) after market:

1. Lane departure warning
2. Rear window shade
3. Soft-close doors

Any insight would be appreciated!

I'd have to say not likely. Good luck in finding your car. I'm in the same boat.

Lane departure warning cannot be put on after. Rear sunshade would require wire harness, button on dash and the shade - cost versus an order would not be too appealing. Soft close doors probably not, and if you found a dealer that would you would not like the economics of that either.

Be patient, get an order allocation and get exactly what you want!

Lane change assist is a must on the Panny.

lane departure warning is useless - I love the blind spot warning - but the LDW beeps all the time if you don't use your turn signal - I would not worry about that option - I leave mine off all the time.

Yeah, I really wanted rear sunshades and investigated this however does not appear cost-feasible, as new rear trim needs to be purchased.

  • Alternatives: Tint and Britax add-ons from Amazon look really clean. I did check out Sonniboy in Germany and they said they would look into it.
Lane-Departure: Again, a lot of sensors (I think under the body work too).
  • Alternatives: Suncoast has convex mirrors that can help, but I understand the feeling when you drive a car with lane-department and get back into a car without it.
