Have a 2014 GTS with the option that adjusts the vehicle sway bars. Supposed to "disconnect" sway bar when traveling in a straight line ( or at least that what I have heard) and make them more "engaged" during hard cornering. It doesn't appear there is any way for the driver to control the feature other than with the sport buttons. How do I know when it is working? There is no option to drive a non-equipped GTS since to see the difference.

If you have the option code and their are no errors, then it is working. Just enjoy not having excessive body roll when making hard left/right turns.

I'm looking to purchase a 2011/2012 PTT or 2013 GTS in the next couple of weeks. How do I know if the car is optioned with PDCC?

Honestly if you've got the option code, you've got the kit.

Find a nice continuous radius curve on or off ramp and go a little bit quicker than you would normally (although obviously stay safe), if the car corners completely flat (my PTT does, much to my amusement) you can safely assume it's working. (I agree it would be nice to have some kind of indication on the computer info pages).

Option Codes:

640 - Sport Chrono

715 - PDCC

176 - Sport Exhaust

457 - Lane Change Assist

Dealer can run the VIN and print out a sheet for you showing all the option codes and options. That can be done when you get a prepurchase inspection done at the dealer.

thanks supercar!!! I know from the inside of the car you can visually know if the option is on the car. Chrono (obvious), PDCC (Air suspension, button with arrow under Sport Plus), Sport Exhaust (button on passenger side column of buttons looks like glasses but its the exhaust).

how much should I pay for a PPI? I am guessing this is only done at Porsche dealers correct?

There's no visual indicator on the center console whether do you have PDCC or not.

Stand up a water bottle on the back floor. Drive aggressively around town for several days. If the water bottle is still standing upright, you have PDCC.
