2010 PTT Manheim prices
I ended up getting a 2011 CPO car from my local dealer for a relatively good price.
Hope this helps
I am a former auto broker and still have access to the Mannheim auction reports. I just looked and a car with 16k miles sold last week for $65500, one with 34k miles for $67000, and 2 weeks before one with 23 k miles sold for $72000. Average wholesale auction price was $69000 with an avg of 29 k miles.
Interestingly, Mannheim projects what a car will be worth 1 month and 1 year from now. It projects a $2000 decrease in value next month on the PTT and that they will be worth an average of $48000 1 year from now. Looks like they are not holding value well.
I hope this helps...let me know if you have any other questions.

Doktorek,
Of all the panamera's, the turbo depreciates the fastest, and the most initially. This is driven by the market, as most buyers for this car cannot afford or do not desire to spend that kind of money for a turbo. The V6 sells the most, due to its lower cost and subsequently tends to hold it's value the best because of the market demand being stronger for the V6's.
I will say that they tend to level off in depreciation after a few years, and the turbos are a good value at 3-4 years old as you can get them for about half the original sticker sometimes.
If you want to know what cars/vehicles do not depreciate much, then you need to look at the toyota tacoma, jeep wrangler, or the acura NSX's. These cars hold their value incredibly well.
But keep in mind the manhiem estimations are just that, an estimate. But I will add this, from experience....these are auction prices, and after a dealer purchases a car at auction, they typically pay an auction fee, and have to pay for shipping the car to the dealership. This can add around $500-700 per car. Once the car gets to the dealer, they have to recondition it. With the panamera turbo's, this may cost thousands especially if the car needs new tires, brake work, etc... If they add the certification, this is another $2500 (which by the way $500 of that goes to the salesman).
I hope that helps some, please feel free to ask any questions that relate to this. I am glad to help.

LOL
Manheim: they also it think a 2008 BENTLEY GTC will be worth 30k less ..... this time next year:roll eyes (a car that's already 6 years old in depreciation)
The reality is the Panny's that are 82k-97k RETAIL now (2010-11 turbos with lo miles) will be 73-82k same time next year in the retail market.
When the TURBOS drop in the 70's the market get's very tight due to limited supply and increased demand from the public. This happens with 911 turbos and cayenne turbos as a barometer.
ZERO chance that any PTT with below average miles are in the 50's RETAIL in 2015, unless something is drastically wrong with said car.
2008 BENTLEY GTC= So a car that's already 6 years old is gonna drop 30k in 1 year....... LOL
Apr 2014.......................... APRIL 2015
Auction $85,000.......................... $57,200
Est. Retail $109,000....................... $78,000
As DPM said above take all PRICING with a grain of salt. This why they call it an estimate and far from fact.

DPM - Im in a market for a 2011 PTT or 2012 4S. From what you are describing - it looks like 4S would be a smarter choice. But I figure if I have to spend over $70K for a new car - I can afford a little bit more for a panny around maybe $85-90k.
Panamera is one of my choices because I read on this forum that they hold value a lot more than other high end cars. But it does make sense what you say. I will keept that in mind. Thnx.

I have to agree with Boomer about the PTT. Once these enter the $70k range retail, the market will increase in demand and will they will then hold their value better. The decrease in value will be much slower at that point. I agree that I have a hard time believing that the PTT will retail in the $50k's in 2015...that seems unrealistic.
Doktorek..In my opinion, when comparing a 3 year old PTT or a 4s, I believe at that point when they hit 3 years of age, the depreciation has leveled off for the most part. The turbo may depreciate just a little more than the 4s, but not a huge amount. I think you should buy what you want and what you can afford. This is a big purchase, and a special one.. get the one you want, but take your time to find a good deal.
If you intend to keep this car for a long time, this discussion has very little significance right now. Now on the other hand, if you are planning on trading/selling this car in the next 1-2 years, then you should be careful to get a good deal.
BTW, if you buy a certified car from a Porsche dealer ($2400-2500 add on), which adds 2 yrs to the warranty and up to a 100 k on the warranty, and you trade it in before that warranty kicks to another porsche dealer.. ..most porsche dealers will give you an additional $1500-2000 credit for the certification on your trade in value. Most will do this, not all. But...if you don't plan on having this car for a long time, you should ask to have this removed at the time of purchase (will save you $$$).
No matter if you get a PTT or a 4s, it is going to put a smile on your face each day.

I have been looking around for a '11 PTT in white with beige and they are hard to find especially with CPO. There is plenty of '10s and black interior PTTs - harder to find white/beige combo below $95K.
