Unintended acceleration on Panamera GTS 14

anybody experience this on the forum..twice I have had what appears to be a sudden burst of rev/what feels like acceleration when I am moving from a hard stop at a stop sign when I have only touched the accelerator gently. both times the car appears to lunge forward .I plan to take it in to have it checked but wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this on any panny

sudden acceleration 2014 GTS

Had a similar experience while creeping along in the line of traffic towards a stop sign. I needed a little more speed so I touched the gas and it revved and lurched. Quit scary so now I leave more distance between me in the other car. This just happened on 4/2.

I haven't had this issue with my '14 PGTS; however, I found this happens with dual-clutches when they are cold and the engine is not warmed up. At least that has been my experience.

I like the suggestion of keeping a distance...hoping its one of those things that will never happen again as I love the car and haven't had any other issues

It was definety throttle and not a clutch problem. The car had been operating for about 30 minutes.

To be clear, the rate of acceleration INCREASES despite the throttle being held steady?

And does it STOP accelerating when lifting off the throttle?

Stopped immediately after lifting off the throttle. The behavior was not consistent with a slight push. It was not in sport plus

I've experienced something like this once, it was when i had the auto start/stop option on. It was actually my dog that turned it on. i was at a stop light and when i pressed the accelerator my car jumped forward. I'm not sure if its the same problem as yours but just giving some input.

The more I think about this it could have been a delay in the PDK engagement in my case. The engine speed got really high (and loud since the sport exhaust was engaged) and the PDK engaged during the high RPMs causing the lurch. Before this the brake was being used to slow the PDK "creeping" in traffic with a constant pressure for a few minutes. That may have confused the software? The clutch had to be slipping because the way the engine was engine was revving I would have launched into the car in front. In any case, this stopped when I released the throttle. Perhaps I should start using first gear in slow traffic.

Just curious if you ever had your car looked at for this problem. The same thing happened to me today. I was creeping after a full stop at a stop sign and when I pressed the accelerator the car lunged forward. Scared the crap out of me actually. Luckily there was not another car in front of me. Porsche Panamera GTS.
