Panamera springs
Panamera springs
Looking into getting springs, looked at H&R, EIBACH and other springs but am concerned about the following. I wasn't fortunate enough to have a Panny with Air adjustable suspension so I have to go this route.
* Longevity
* Ride Quality
* Overall impact to PASM system
* Blown Shocks
* Sagging
I've read other forums where this was affecting their 911's with PASM.
thoughts??? I really want to get some new wheels on my panny but don't want to look like a 4wheel drive riding high with big rims and tires. Never was a fan of too much space in the wheel well. When I modded my previous vehicles, always went with full coilovers but different with the PASM.
Thanks in advance

do it man!... trust me you will be glad you did... with the drop you are not slamming the car at all. This car sits so high from factory that the the 1.5" drop all it does it brings to a height that seems should of been from factory. People that don't know Panameras can't even tell mine is dropped.
Also I been very amaze that with the drop and 22" wheels I have hit a few spots on the road that with my M3(lowered) use to fill a bit harsh and with this car I don't even notice I hit anything...that shows you that the suspension still has plenty of room to travel and absorb most of the impacts.... my 2 cents...

Yes, I'm just worried about long term. I've seen lots of stories on forums about them not working too well on PASMs on 911s.
I don't think there has been long enough timeline out there on Panny's without Air suspensions using H&R /Eibach's or other springs to lower their cars to have enough data if there are effects like it does on 911's with PASM.
Springs do sag, and just don't want to get to a point where it sags way more than I would like to and worst case not work in the long run or cause issues with PASM and my warranty. But damn do I hate that space in the wheel arch.

20's on this car, with sport+ in pasm is a perfect ride height I can't imagine slamming this car with 22's and springs but then again that's why they make vanilla and chocolate ice cream I guess
im running my Panny on 22s with Project Kahn sports springs and im considering reverting back to stock springs. theres alot of speed bumps by me and with 4 people in the car (12 & 13 year olds in the back) it bottoms out badly on the speed bumps, makes aloud bang and scrapes.
with just me in the car its ok, but even so, you really have to slooow right down on the speed bumps.

Can someone explain to me why Hofele springs cost 3x more than H&Rs? the price of those springs can get some folks a full coilover system.
also anyone know where I can get Eibachs???

We can offer you great pricing on H&R and Eibach. Please PM me which kit you are looking for and I can send you pricing.
I had hr springs on for 5 months and 22s. I liked the ride slowed down with speed bumps etc anyways. Took them off getting ready to trade for a ptt. If interested pm me they are perfect. Maybe put 2400 miles in 5 months
