2014 PTT on 21" 3pc Vorsteiner rims

Finally got these on my car after having them refinished from matte grey to brushed.

I preferred the darker gray as well - it matched the car well - these stand out a little too much for my taste.

+1 since you inadvertently asked for feedback....they are way too "bright"

I appreciate the feedback - I think I liked the grey better too.

Not quite sure how I am going to rectify that though. It was a complete pain in the a** to breakdown the rims and send them to vorsteiner to get them refinished and the remounted.

I could have them painted to match the body color locally I guess.?

Might just take them off and let them gather dust in the garage.

But in looking at them more - I just don't like the matte finish. Should I do body color?

Would they look like the ones you included in that post? 'Cause I far prefer those.

Taking them off would be a damn shame. They are nice whels you just need to figure out what finish pleases YOU the most.

I would get them painted locally to avoid the headache of shipping them back to Vorsteiner, that just sound way too complicated not to mention the cost!!

The darker gray definitely looks better, the only upside to the matte finish is that even when they are covered in brake dust - they still look basically the same. Since you've got to get them redone either way I would go with body color in gloss since you don't care for the matte finish, after all it is your car and as long as you're happy that's all that matters!

Well I guess I am torn - I like the new finish and the old but I guess I'm tired of the project and just going to put my Turbo II's back on the car.

I'm going to sell these at a 50% discount.

$5k plus shipping to anyone interested - would love a local pickup in Michigan. The rubber is brand new and has less than 500 miles. Tires alone are well over $2k.

Hopefully someone can enjoy these. They are really neat rims.

I think they look pretty good and I am pretty picky when it comes to wheels.

I think all you needed was to add the Red centercaps from Vorsteiner and it would look just perfect.
