Always have an itch to mod and wondering if any has purchased, installed and wouldn't mind sharing their thoughts. Not sure if it will improve my 0-60 MPH performance...

 

its always been on my list of mods too, its very cool looking...but not cheap.
i keep talking my self out of buying it because im the only person that will ever see it .

exactly...what's the point no performance, and rarely seen by anyone

 

It may look cool every time you fill up, but if it's cold outside it'll feel real cold on your hands every time you use it. The stock plastic ones won't feel cold.
As for the tethers, I don't use them as I pull them off and jam the cap under the nozzle lever. (Here in Canada, they don't have the locking pins to run the gas unattended.) The gas cap serves as a locking pin.

 

Guys, this is not aluminum. It's plastic that looks aluminum. I looked at one at dealer, wanting it just like you. But I just couldn't get myself to spend $150 in a plastic cap when we already have one. :-). Just my .02 cents.

 

I have it, it came with the car. Not the biggest deal in the world but gives the extra quality look every time I fill up.
