I have the problem, no word from my dealer on parts ETA.
I've gotten used to double clicking the lock button on the key fob when I lock the doors, that locks the car but disables the internal sensor that randomly triggers the alarm.
(I'm both paraphrasing and working from memory, so please forgive if I'm not 100% accurate)
This issue is now a campaign.
Porsche will service affected Panameras and Cayennes first. Then work on Macans.
My service manager believes that parts will be assigned and shipped by VIN. So it may be a bit out of the dealer's control. What I would call a "Push" situaiton, rather than a pull.
He has not cancelled my order for the part as a backup plan.
I'm right there with you Rattle. Very, very frustrating to wait on something like this.
Not sure I blame the dealer, but for sure if I lived near PCNA in Atlanta, the car would spend some time parked over there. Hopefully near some window offices.
I pinged my service guy. He said that the Cayenne replacements have been trickling in, and he's expecting Panamera parts to begin arriving by end of week.
I had the same issue and apparently my 14 Panamera eHybrid was not part of the recall. However, the dealership changed the overhead console citing faulty sensors and hardware.
FWIW before the dealer fix, the alarm was driving me nuts so my temp-perm fix was to place two pieces of black insulation tape over the little left and right slit openings where the motion sensors were. 3 weeks and the alarm never went off.
Now that the hardware is swapped, hoping that resolved the issue. Even if your car is not part of the recall, insist for them to fix it. I did!
Attached is the customary/mandatory pic of the Panny!

That's good to hear. Congrats on the PSeH.
We're still waiting on the part. Who did your work?
I worked with Barbara at Porsche in Tysons, VA. Hope this helps. Btw I did not wait for the part or order it. Apparently they already had it in stock. I walked in, asked to get it fixed and look at one other minor issue and they gave me a loaner for a day.

Well that's a bit of a pisser, since I've been waiting for that part for almost two months at Tysons. I email every week asking about availability.
Don't know if you know this, but you can get a third-gen HOV plate for your PSeH now. Very helpful if you live in the Dulles corridor.
Sorry Ace10. Take your car there and demand it get gets fixed right away. That is what I did. Maybe I got lucky and they had a console in stock put aside for someone (maybe yours? )

Going to look into the HoV plates. Thank you!
When I have some free time, the car is gonna get parked there. And they can enjoy the serenade.
I wrote extensively about my crusade to get the PSeH added to the HOV-eligible list over on RL. I gave up on that site, though. Never seen a less enthusiastic, less talkative bunch of people on a car forum.
My wife commutes from western Loudoun to Tysons, and the plates save her 0-20+ minutes each way. Not bad for a $25 fee.
