Alarm randomly triggers on MY14 Panamera
I'm getting my alarm on '14 GTS fixed next week.
I'm not too happy with the way this problem was handled. The dealer promised and promised that they were on top of the issue and would call me as soon as they had a fix. No way. It was up to me to re-explain the issue to a new person (turnover must be high in the car biz) after seeing @ace10 had his fixed. Nobody from Porsche was going to tell me anything.
I'm glad Barrier Porsche in Bellevue, WA has always done good WORK on my cars, but their communication is total BS.

The fix was performed and I am happy to report no alarms last night with the vehicle locked (garaged, test purposes only). A far cry from my first night of ownership when the car was going off in a hotel parking lot with my very late arrival.
Porsche delivered my new car with a known problem and didn't tell me and weren't in any particular hurry to address the issue. When parts were available no one contacted me.
It took 5 months. Finally the car can be locked by anybody correctly.

Yup, that pretty much sums up my feelings and my experience, also.
Glad your fix worked.
