Just got a 2014 Panamera GTS

I used to have a 2011 Panamera Turbo, and loved that car. Got the usual itch and went to a 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe (loved that car) but again, after 9 months, kept feeling like I missed the Panamera. When my 991 GT3 was sidelined waiting for a new engine, Porsche gave me a 2014 Panamera loaner for 4 months, and I realized how much I truly missed that car/interior/layout. So I started looking, and a day later, found a 2014 GTS in the exact combo/build I wanted...it was fate. Next day, my dealer swapped for this car, and I had my new GTS.
Many people here debate between a turbo and a GTS, but although the Turbo has more power and straight line speed, the GTS engine is so addictive. I really missed a naturally aspirated engine, and that sound...wow! The mapping on the PDK feels very different, and the engine bark is really unique. I am in love. Here are some pictures.

For those of us less fortunate, we debate on 991s vs. Used panny turbo vs. New GTS (which I just ordered). Can't afford a new turbo.

Nice call!! Looks like carmine red interior. They are great cars indeed. I wish they had 480 hp but 440 will have to do.

You will love the GTS - much more engaging to drive than the turbo, and what a sound! What color/options? I love the Carmine/alcantara/carbon combo (same as my GT3). So sweet. Wish my car had the alcantara wheel - it is insanely expensive to add after the fact (like $3k). So nuts. For other cars, at Suncoast, it is $1,095...for Panamera, $3k.

Why do people like black wheels. I don't get it. A nice brushed aluminum is classic. Maybe being over 35 is why? Nice car BTW.

TGED is infamous around these parts
We in snow country see a lot of black rims in winter, snow tires mounted on cheap black steel rims without hubcaps.

I happen to like black wheels - have them on our Cayenne and the black/white contrast looks great, in my opinion.

Very nice indeed! I would be interested in your thoughts as to how the GTS and M6GC compare. A few years ago when I purchased my P4S, I also was considering the GC, particularly since I was coming from a hosyt of BMW cars that included an M6 and an MSport 750i xDrive. Frankly, the P4S blew my mind with the AWD, NA 400HP V8, and extremely comfortable seating, not to mention PASM and Chrono! To me, seating wasn't as comfortable in the GC and the rear seats, including accessibility to the rear, left me wondering why they bothered. The GC certainly is powerful and very good looking though.

Yeah, the M6 GC back seats were not very spacious - probably ok for kids, but not adults for long drives. Great-looking interior, but not that useful. Panamera is much more spacious.
Panamera GTS is a more fun drive, for sure. Much more engaging. 18 way seats are incredible, and really a pleasure.

I have a 750LI and it has the most comfortable seats up to date. I had other high end vehicles and 7 series seats are the most comfortable. I dont know about G6.
I have a 14 way seats and they are not very comfortable. They are Ok. I hope that 18 way seats are.

I can second that...the seats in my 750i (I had the premium seating package) were the most comfortable seats I have ever experienced.
