For those who have this option, is the back light in LED? Suncoast sells this but you need to specify whether your Panamera is 2010/11 or 2012+, I wonder if only the newer ones are in LED. Mine is a 2011 and I would only consider getting it if it is in LED.

 

I have them retrofitted to my 2010 some time ago. I believe the light bulbs are LEDs. See photo attached and my apology on the quality of it but it does give you a good idea how they look.

 

Did you get your dealer to do the installation?

 

Yep, my dealer took care of the installation. Took them a while though as the adapters are different for the MY 2010. I hope you won't experience the same problem.

 

The lights are thin LED bulbs to give a very crisp and clean back light. We have them available in aluminum illuminted or carbon illuminated. Model/Year specific based on wiring. Let us know if we can help!

Are all cars wired for them or does it require a harness added?

 

Unfortunately the cars are not prewired, you do get the wiring when you order the kit from Suncoast. I wonder if it is possible to DIY, perhaps someone has installation instructions?
