tire wear pattern and on Panamera

hi, have a 2010 pan S with 20K…just changed the front tires for first time with oem n0 p zeros…. anyway, both front tires had severely uneven wear on the inside 1.5" of tread, down to thread/steel belt vs the rest of the tire…

i ended up doing an alignment ; the toe setting was off on both sides by a bit ….

the rear tires surprisingly are wearing out evenly with another 2000 or so miles left on the tread..it's low but…..

anyone else get this kinna wear pattern on front on oem/stock alignment settings ?

My tires were bald/almost on the thread on the inside and brand spanking new on the outside. When the SA told me I needed new tires I almost slapped him, until he showed me.

I think its the way the car is cambered, now I check every 3-4 months the inside thread, never the outside.

Front tires, the back ones tend to wear evenly, prone to the inside a little bit more.

I'm not an owner (yet, looking for the right PTT) but I am a bit of a research hound.

The specs show fronts should have -0.3 (+- .25) camber. Which is minimal and if the car is aligned to default figures, should not cause much inside edge wear.

Rears show -1.45 (+-.25).

So the rears should wear on the inside, but it is still not TOO bad. 2+ degrees and it starts to get annoying.

my front tires on my 2014 panny where destroyed and not holding air any longer at 13,000 miles. what i discovered was I like to drive the car with the suspension setting in the performance mode with it fully lowered. car handles great in mode, however it changes the cambering to the max. lesson learned ! the inside was so worn out, the steel strands where gone !

Is there another mode other than Sport+ ?

The car rides so high on even sport, that it looks like a SUV.

Alignment Done/Specs.

My favorite alignment place was on the way home from my attempt to resolve our misaligned driver rear view mirror with the seller/seller's shop, so I dropped by and had an alignment done. Best place I know of in the San Gabriel Valley. I told them we just bought the car and wanted to make sure the alignment was good. Don't want to prematurely wear out these expensive tires. I feel this is probably the best $60 I've spent to help tire longevity. I'm attaching the printout, if anyone is searching for alignment specs it's there, at least specifically for a '13 Panamera GTS. I'm new to Porsche and have no clue whether there's different alignment specs for every model/sub-model.

(Although this thread has got me worried that the Porsche specs are aggressive and will wear the tires out quickly anyways)....
