Yes, you should also see the green light "HOLD" in your dash.

But also on the incline if you slightly releasing your brake, car doesn't roll smoothly, it shakes slightly. Dealer told me that this is normal because PDK has a clutch and any manual transmission will do this. Again, I had 911 with PDK and it wasn't doing it.

Not mine, when it's cold I never hit on it, what I do hear when it's really cold is a "power steering/supercharger belt" kinda noise coming from the engine, I heard it's normal from somewhere, not the steering unit, I forget.

Not a noise when changing gears.

Thats the HOLD option kicking in, you might even see the HOLD on the dash.

Maybe you are just feeling rough idle. I have a brand new engine and it shakes a little when its stoped at the light. Its normal for porsche. Any other car would feel like cylinder missing out.

No, I know for sure it is not a rough idle. I did some more testing and drove a lot on manual and on Sport and Sport plus and here is what I found out:

If car takes of from 1st and downshifts to 1st at the complete stop, it almost never does this (very rarely it may do it but you barely feel it).

So this only happens when car comes to a complete stop when it is on the 2nd gear.

I'm starting to think that since PDK has two gearboxes in one, maybe when it realises that car is stopping, it makes some changes that cause this shake?

My car will be in the shop in about 10 days for the front right strut and control arm replacement (separate issues with rattling noise when driving over slightly uneven surface) so I can ask them to completely reset PDK and recalibrate it.

In my case I know it is not PDK because this happens way after PDK shifts from 3rd to 2nd. I have a feeling it is an all wheels drive system..

Interestingly, if you stop somewhat aggressively it doesn't do it, or at least I do not feel it.

Is anyone else having this issue or this is not an issue and is normal with these cars?
Not normal.

Mine is different, it's not really a shake from the engine. It is more of a mechanical disengagement from under the car upon complete stop...

So finally my dealer did "re-calibrate" PDK and this issues seems to be gone for 90% of the time. It is still there, but doesn't happen that often and when it does you can barely feel it. I hope this stays like this.

What upsets me the most is that dealer and Porsche rep are telling me that this is a normal behaviour and it seemed like if this calibration wouldn't help they would do anything to the car to fix this issue...

I also wonder what it was... could also be calibration that they had to perform after new engine.

I still have a slight jerking when releasing my brakes lightly (for example when trying to turn left and try to slowly roll your car). Porsche rep said that this is normal because this car has a clutch and just like with manual you sometimes have this issue.

I personally find this very hard to believe, so I'm going to look for few other TT that I can drive to see if they do that. At this point I was happy that they fixed my front suspension noise which I had been going back and forth with them for several weeks. Finally they replaced air shock and problem gone.

So you had front suspension noise even in SoCal? It was just a shock?

I think my noise was different from the common nose which is more squeaky nose, where is sounds like something requires lubrication.

In my case I had more of a rattling noise and it wouldn't really depends on the temperature/weather. It would happen on very low speeds when going over slightly uneven surface. After new front right shock, my car drives a lot better, before when going over bumps besides the nose I also felt that there was something "lose" on the front end. Glad this was resolved, but I did have to get Porsche rep involved and it took few tries, which was annoying.

Now I'm just left with a PDK jerkiness, which I'm going to research and see if that is normal. It amazes me how people spend 150k on the car and have to go through this trouble...
