Suspension Noise
Went to dealer about this noise yesterday, shop manager drove it and heard it (its sounds awful) its only on front passenger side. They think stabilizer or bushings...will know more after next Tuesday when they pull it all apart. I will report back with their findings. CPO car, no worries.
I'm glad I'm not the only one. I only notice it when it's cold outside, so I chalked it up to that. If there's something to be replaced/repaired to solve this in the cold, I would be inclined to bring it in to the dealer for repair.
I had a lot of experience with the front suspension noise .

Just got my car from the shop. They replaced stabilizer bearings
970-343-792-06 and 970-343-793-06. Comments from tech was that these are new numbers and that the old bearing were much oversized. The noise is about 95% gone, Feels like a new car.

Replaced stabilizer bar and bushings
Replaced both upper control arms
No noise in warmer weather, noise in cold
Retorque procedure
Replace both upper control arms (again)
Porsche rep arrives at dealership
Still making noise - checking all dot points
Loosen and retorque
Rework stability end links
Ordered 2015 control arms to replace 2014 arms.
I'll report back if this fixes things...
I've had this same problem since December. My local Porsche dealership is waiting on the last set of parts before I can get it serviced. Hopefully it will be soon. I was up in northern Ontario (Bancroft) and left my car out in -30C weather. Its almost unbearable, but then disappeared once the temps got to -10C.
This is a great thread - I read through this before deciding to take my car in. I've forwarded this information to our shop who is currently working with the Porsche Technical Representatives. They still can't figure out exactly what is causing the noise. Here's what they've done so far:
Replaced stabilizer bar and bushings
Replaced both upper control arms
No noise in warmer weather, noise in cold
Retorque procedure
Replace both upper control arms (again)
Porsche rep arrives at dealership
Still making noise - checking all dot points
Loosen and retorque
Rework stability end links
Ordered 2015 control arms to replace 2014 arms.

They've had the Porsche reps in for almost a week. All of the above corrected 80% of the problem. New 2015 control arms installed and the sound is COMPLETELY GONE. Perfect - according to my tech. I'll report back when I get back in town and pick up the car.
That's good to hear! I dropped my car off yesterday for the same issue, and they're ordering new control arms. They said that they have replaced those in another Panamera due to the same complaint.
I brought my car in yesterday to get the suspension noise checked out.
My service adviser told me they thing it's the stabilizer bushings that need to be replaced. He said the rubber compound dries out and starts to cause these noises. The new bushings apparently are made from a different rubber compound. The bushings are on back order from Germany. Don't know when they will arrive. Let's hope this solves the issue....we'll see.
It's disappointing that Porsche doesn't recognize this as a problem with the Panamera, and do something about it. To me, this should be a recall item.

Correction to my prior post. Noise back again. Definably coming from the front. I went slowly over pot hole and got noise from the front, when the back hit the pot hole, no noise, I'll have to bring it back again.
I've got the crunching noise from the front suspension as well on my 2011 PTT. Only in cold (<25°F). Had it every winter since I've owned it. Only happens in comfort and sport PASM settings. Doesnt happen in Sport Plus setting. Last winter I also had a few chassis failure messages but these were always corrected by turning the car off and then restarting. Given the high frequency of these complaints even on this forum, it is obvious Porsche knows about this problem by now. My guess is there isn't a total recall (couldn't resist) because people in warmer climes are not affected.
Mines going in next week to have the bushings replaced under CPO.

Too all with these issues. V8s come with poly bushings. V6 come with rubber bushings. Poly bushings squeek. I have heared that some dealers will shut up V8 customers and install V6 panny bushings if they cant get rid of the noise. So WATCH OUT PEOPLE. Check your part numbers on the invoice.
