Advice for purchasing wheels
wheel enhancements has been serving the Porsche community for decades, buying and selling new and used porsche wheels and refinishing factory fuchs wheels -- this is why they have so many porsche wheels available. Given their position in the community (and the premium they charge for their wheels), I trust their representation of factory wheels as factory wheels and would strongly doubt that wheels sold by this vendor as factory wheels would be replicas. . . .

Most customers cant tell the difference b/ oem and replicas. Trust me. I cant even tell without professional advise. It took me 6 months to find a good set of turbo lls for $ 2700. He wanted 4000. Craigslist deal.
One red flag on their website. Under panamera turbo lls - they are showing turbos that are 19s. Panamera turbo lls are 20". I guess they dont know their wheels that well. Hmmmmmmmm

2) I have not personally ordered from Wheelenhancements.com -- their prices on 16x8 fuchs were higher than I wanted to pay back when I was upgrading my 911 targa's wheels and ended up buying from a private seller. More recently, when looking for 19" panamera classic wheels (which I couldn't even get from Porsche), they too were unable to find a set.
However, while I agree that it's important to be wary of vendors, it's worth reiterating that these guys have been serving the Porsche community for many years. While fakes can certainly be hard to identify, representing fakes as the real thing would seem to be a very stupid way to squander whatever goodwill these folks have built in this community . . .
I have been a Porsche owner for over 40 years and I have seen vendors come and go and if I'm not mistaken Wheelenhancement has been around about half as long as I have owned these cars and I have only ever heard good things about them. There was a time I was far more active in the Porsche community and people tend to talk especially about bad treatment and nothing was ever said about them. I have dealt with them over the years recently HRE sent me to them when I was looking for tires for my HRE wheels. They were not made yet but they spent 15 minutes trying to help me and that was after they knew there was no chance I would be buying anything that day. I have seen good and bad wheel replicas over the years, usually finish and weight give them away, and I do agree most owners would not know the difference but I would have no reason not to trust in what this vendor is selling. By the way OP what car did you buy?

Panamera 2 design wheels(ugly)
Tinted tailights
Premium package plus
14 way seats
Soft close doors
Bose
Seat ventilation
Reversing cameras and sensors
There are a few more I cant remember but yeah overall i think it is a mildly specced car. Just need wheels and exahust to complete it for me.
One more thing you have to consider before purchase. If you dont know what style you want think about brake dust. I dont know if 2014s have improved on their pad formula but the Turbo cars and ones with big brakes and from back in 2010 - those generate a lot of brake dust. If you have a lot of spokes on the wheel - you will have tough time cleaning them. If your Panny doesnt generate much dust - you are safe. But if it does, get black wheels or get Turbo IIs. Turbo IIs dont have many spokes so the dust has nothing to stick to.
I did find another set which looks like it is in very good condition.
Here is the link and suggestions on this one?

They look like they are in much better condition but the polish finish looked faded and scratch. Have quite a lot of tires left which is not bad. What is your take on this one? They look OEM and the back of the wheels are still polished like OEM, are they legit? Thanks!
Is the stamp ID the numbers on the spoke as shown in the picture or something else

Wheelenhancement is DEFINITELY reputable. They sell OEM wheels and tires as well as aftermarket stuff.
I bought a set of used 18" Panamera S take-off wheels from Nitrous Garage via eBay. I'm driving around on them right now, they're my winter wheels. I seem to recall they had a couple of things on them that looked like nicks but which turned out to be just dirt that washed off.
The interior of the wheels (i.e. the surfaces facing the inside of the tires) were fairly stained, but I think that's to be expected, and I really didn't care.

Is there any reason not to consider after - market wheels? I think OEM are often not the best value.
Personally I'd rather have a brand new set of unblemished wheels, with known number of mountings, than a set of used OEM take-offs.
At the higher end of the price range you can get HRE or other forged wheels that are IMO nicer than any OEM wheel. Personally I have had Vorsteiner VS110 in brushed shadow that were superb.
At a more modest price range you can get so-called flow - formed wheels like the Victor Equipment or Forgestar which are also quite nice. I have a set of Victor Badens in matte black that are lighter than my OEM with a quality finish. Cheaper than many take-offs, with brand new tires and TPMS.
I have had good experiences with two wheel vendors on this forum - Eric @ Supreme Power for Vorsteiner wheel set and Jason @Get Your Wheels for Victor Equipment.

Well, personally I got a set of OEM take-offs for $600 shipped, $125 + $25 shipping per wheel. You're not going to get good-quality aftermarket wheels for that. Of course, I was buying standard 18" wheels, which I expect are a bit of a glut with people replacing their original wheels with fancier, 20" rims.
