Panamera GTS with Fabspeed X-Pipe (Video Clip)

Here's a short video of my GTS with a recently installed Fabspeed X-Pipe.

The growl is pretty insane! When you let off the throttle you hear all kinds of crackling and popping....sounds great!

No drone at all on the highway, and when the OEM sport exhaust valves are closed, it is VERY quiet and tame (except on startup....as the valves are automatically always open on startup).

The pipes are not inexpensive, but they are excellent quality and the fitment was perfect! My only gripe was that Fabspeed failed to include the correct pipe clamps to attach the x-pipe to the rear muffler ends of the of the exhaust. The ones they supplied were not the correct diameter and I had to go out and purchase new ones from a local muffler distributor.

Other than that, I am quite happy with them.

I think it would! Your 2012 4S has the V8 engine that will definitely sound better with the x-pipe. If you had the newer V6 4S, I wouldn't necessarily think the x-pipe would make a noticeable difference.

What do you think of the sound of my setup?

Glad you like them Thomas!!!

They do a great job of waking up the car, and the crackle/burbling/popping...oh man.

Fabspeed definitely has a winner with these X Pipes, and for guys looking to add exactly what you've heard - these are first on a very short list of recommendations.

Thanks for the support and thanks for sharing the video!

Hello...

thanks a lot for your vidéo...;-)...i have a GTS and i have a look for the FABSPEED X-pipe...
on your video i have the sensation that the sound with the FABSPEED is more acute than the OEM?
Less deaf and less muffled like the OEM parts?
it's right?

Hi Pascal,

Our 970 GTS is a fantastic way to achieve a deeper, throatier exhaust tone without being too obnoxious or overbearing. Install is by way of direct bolt-on replacement with no cutting/welding required. Sounds awesome with the OEM Muffler 😊

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hi moose, I was able to source a setup locally without the wait before I saw your post. If you post some pics of the pipe it will go quick.

Is anyone here with a x pipe of any sort - having a porsche extended warranty - the one you get when you are out of official warranty -
if so the x pipe would not be accepted by Porsche ?
As its non standard ?
