Panamera PSE Louder with PASM Sport & Sport Plus?

I just recently "feel" and "hear" my PSE is louder & throatier when I switched PASM to Sport or Sport Plus mode, is it true? Or my ear is playing tricks on me?

I don't think it is any louder but with the higher revving because of the shifting pints it seems louder.

Yes, the higher revving makes it (seem?) louder. I was actually just commenting on that today to my friend. Weird.

yes youre right. You got a non-turbo model? As long as I know from Porsche hk PSE will be louder in sport/sport plus mode as non turbo models rely on the back pressure. In other words with that mode it allows faster acceleration and the exhaust will be louder
