V6 Exhaust Upgrade - AWE or Fabspeed

Guys, newbie on the forum here. I've researched the threads looking for opinions on exhaust options for the V6 (2012). I just want better sound out of it and understand that performance gains are minimal. I'm thinking of starting with an axle back replacement first and if that doesn't satisfy me, I might go catback.

So between the two (AWE and Fabspeed), which one would you choose? I know it's personal preference on sound but would still want to hear opinions on drone risk, quality of construction, etc.

Thanks!

I went with the awe catback I think it was called the touring, they have another system that adds I believe an x-pipe to make it more aggressive sounding. It looks nasty with the black diamond quad tips. its relatively quiet but not as quiet as stock, was contemplating adding the x-pipe but not sure the extra $600 or so is worth it. i'm happy with it but do it for the looks and mild sound upgrade than a performance gain.

Thanks for the reply! Any reason you picked the AWE over other options out there? That's where I'm leaning too but just wanted to make sure. Also, have you experienced any droning with it?Thanks again.

I picked the AWE mainly due to sound clips I saw on youtube also on this site. I have experienced no drone whatsoever with just the catback. Its a quality piece well constructed and fits flawlessly. They make these to order so expect 2-3 weeks wait time.

You have obviously heard about our products and that is fantastic, thank you! I would be more than happy to assist you with this process. If you are really looking for that aggressive Porsche sound I would recommend going with the bypass pipes and the mufflers, this will really free up a lot of exhaust flow! I also have these systems in stock and ready to go, no lead time!

Please contact myself directly for more information and special forum pricing!!
