Skipping on slow tight turns

Wondering if this is normal/part of the AWD system, PDK thing, or something else? Whenever we go through a slow turn (left or right) we can feel some skipping/slipping in the axle/wheel? It's hard to tell. No noises to speak of.

Just had the uppper and lower control arms replaced due to knocking noises over bumps but did not get the sway bar bushings or end links replaced.

This is normal.. It typically happens when the temp starts to go down and the tires are cold... My car does this as well...

Sounds like you're running summer tires when the temperature is in the 40's. Since they're turning into hard blocks of plastic, it's time to put some snow tires or all-seasons on the car, something that can deal with the cold.

Thanks guys. I'm getting some new rubber on there soon. They are summer tires on there but the new rubber will be all season tires here in the Seattle area.

I bought my 2015 Panamera GTS out of dealer inventory and itcame with 20" All-Season tires. Not ideal...... but I've since found them to be quite serviceable in the summer, warm weather. The limits at which the A/S tires would be a summertime compromise are not something I would ordinarily do with the GTS....that's what my 991S is for. So I've not found a reason to have 2 sets of tires/wheels for this car.

If you live in an area that doesn't get snow, all-seasons are fine. The main reason to have 2 sets of tires / wheels is when you need real snow tires - which I do in Boston - and don't want to subject those tires to summer temperatures and consequent high wear.

I had exactly the same thing on my previous Panamera and Panamera 4S.
Seems to be well known / documented. Dealers say it is normal.

I haven't felt it yet on my P GTS. Will see once winter hits as it is typically more prevalent when cold.
